MARTIAL HAMEL WINS THE 2017 SUPPLY CHAIN EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR AWARD

Todd Strickler
Regulatory & Logistics Manager

The Freight Management Association (FMA) of Canada is the only national industry association that promotes legislation through advocacy focusing specifically on freight transportation issues. Every year, the FMA honors an individual in the Supply Chain who has shown innovative leadership, dedication, and commitment to the practice of supply chain management.

The winner is selected from a pool of nominations made by peers and industry leaders. To be considered for this award, the nominee must have demonstrated innovation in technology, development of new concepts and dissemination of knowledge, and contributed to a greater awareness of transportation within the community, government and public, among other things. Previous winners of this award have been executives with companies such as The Hudson’s Bay Company, Canadian Tire Corporation, Parrish & Heimbecker, and General Motors, just to name a few.

Through his outstanding leadership abilities, Martial has led the Sanimax Supply Chain team through many projects, including the 1st “R”, which not only demonstrated, but far exceeded the requirements for this prestigious honor.

We are proud to congratulate Martial Hamel for this well-deserved award, and we thank him for his efforts in helping Sanimax be recognized as the Very Best.
