Vice-president, Manufacturing

On October 17, the Montreal plant was host to an Industry 4.0 plant tour. These tours showcase initiatives of companies who took the digital shift in their respective business segment. The on-site team welcomed over 60 visitors, among which were representatives from small to medium size businesses, and government agencies involved in the project and which promote the implementation of digital initiatives in the manufacturing sector. On this occasion, Sanimax representatives, including Serge Morin Éric Lépine and myself, were able to present technological advances that were implemented by the Montreal plant as well as the deployment plans for the other facilities, with respect to the digital shift taken by Sanimax and the company’s strategic orientations.

Sanimax took the opportunity to assert its environmental role and emphasize its values, particularly the “Seek Better Ways” value, as it is recognized as an innovative manufacturing company.

Following the event, visitors completed a questionnaire to assess the quality of the tour, and Sanimax scored high on the survey. Participants particularly appreciated the welcoming, the presentations that were made and the plant tour.
